Alex's Bio
Before you guys and gals get to "know" me, I LOVE when I get feedback and comments on my articles, even if its just "Nice read" to "I absolutely hated it" is fine with me. I try to write things that start debate, because it shows that you guys actually read what I write! Thanks for everything!
I'm 20 years old and I currently live on the north side of Chicago. I love watching and playing sports especially baseball, basketball, and football. I graduated from Niles West High School in 2007, I recently just changed my majors and switched schools from Kendall College where I was going for a Culinary Arts degree, to Oakton Community College where I can get my associates degree in journalism and hopefully transfer to Penn State to get my Bachelors.
I welcome all feedback whether positive or negative, as I hope to grow as a writer.
Cheers!!!
May you never run through writers block!!! Keep up the good work everyone!!
Oh and.. GO CUBS GO!!!
Favorable Quotes:
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much can you take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! "

"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. I can't accept not trying." - Michael Jordan

I am surprised by the number of people who actually want to reserve the right to bad-mouth their teams! I offer constructive criticism, of course, but one in particular wants to be able to say, "they suck," if they do.
I don't get it. Will YOU take the pledge?

Hey Alex,
Please check out my slide show. Yes I'm shamelessly trying to win the i-pod touch. But please help me out anyway.
