hey todd, i just found out OU will get an early pre season starting this weekend with 3 games in canada & were allowed 10 extra practices that dont count against our normal practice schedule. kampe said we open up the regular season @ bama & then @ arkansas & face ennessee, utah valley, western michigan & ohio at the orena. it also looks like we are also taking in transfer duke mondy of providence college.

ya i also am sad to see ilija go but i heard through the grape vine that he had finished his degree in 3 years & hes going back home to serbia to make money now for his family. my sources werent specific but they did say there was no bad blood between ilija & our coaching staff & that hes going back to ultimately help his family who live in a 3rd world country.

i personally believe my sources & have nothing but support for him. i was born from immigrant parents who come from a 3rd world country, so i commend him for what hes doing. sometimes you just have to do whats right for you & your family. hes got a degree & an offer from a serbian team, who can blame him? i know if he had a choice, he would stay at oakland for his senior year, but the situation dictates hes gotta help his family now.

as for the passing young big, i also am hoping hes a diamond in the rough, as he did play at a pretty decent prep academy & he did have a full ride offer to another school, but somehow we got him. so basically we have 2 RS freshman & a true freshman in our front court. ive got a couple vids of the recruit, let me know if you would like to check it out & i can get them to you.

btw i also just read your bio & both of us have TP for our most memorable play. TP hitting those 3's in rupp for you & for me it was the block against reggie in game 2. i just thought it was a funny coincidence.

looks like LOTS of turmoil at my alma mater. within a matter of days weve lost our senior center the serbian assasin to the euro league.
