Andrew's Bio

Born and raised in upstate New York and northern New Jersey, finding a team to root for wasn't exactly a task. If anything, the area boasted more of an "embarrassment of riches" than any other place in the world. So, I adopted the Yankees, Jets, and Rutgers as my teams, and as you would expect from any mid-20's guy in this area, I take them pretty seriously.

How seriously? Well, let's just say the correlation between my blood pressure and the scoreboard is no coincidence.

I'm a Rutgers alum (New Brunswick campus) and a season ticket holder for football. With the program's awakening over the past few years, it's an exciting time to be around Rutgers Football, and the future looks bright.

I primarily focus my writing here on B/R on Rutgers Football, and I like to think of my material as a barometer for how RU is doing.

So feel free to check in once a week to get my take on the Scarlet Knights and I encourage you to comment or drop me a line.

GO RU!

  1. haha they get most people, don't worry!

  2. I see you are a featured columnist. I'm just wondering what that means. What is special about the position? Are their any advantages or is it just a title? Do your articles get put on the home B/R page? Also I'm wondering if you are a rutgers featured columnist or a B/R featured columnist.

  3. Why do u have RU so far down on your power rankings?????

  4. The Bleacher Creature College Football Poll returns and I need you to become a pollster!

  5. Hey Andrew,

You're probably familiar with the story of Eric Foster, but here it is, if you want to refamiliarize yourself with it.

And that would be the sweetest camel in southeast Missouri. I call her Camela.

  7. No problem Andrew!

  8. You nailed it. I'm so proud of you! WTG

  9. MY PLEASURE, NOW GO KICK SOME A$$. :P

  10. The Yankees have put together an unbelievable streak of magical wins, but is Yankee Stadium and its short right field porch New York’s “magic wand?” Can sitting back and waiting for a solo HR really translate to October success?

Thanks in advance! I would love to hear your feedback and comments. Take care.

  11. The new Yankee Stadium had been criticized for its lack of intensity and electricity in the early months of the season, but this weekend’s series against the Red Sox finally make a familiar place seem like HOME.

Thanks in advance, and I would look to hear your opinions and feedback. Take care.

  12. No problem at all Andrew, and I hope to talk Yankees more in the future here in the B/R community. I would love to stretch the lead against Boston this weekend, but I will absolutely sign up for a split and maintain the 2.5 game lead considering we face Beckett and Lester.

  13. Did you have the opportunity to read my new article focused on our national past time and what's missing from todays game. Centering on bringing back the true meaning of the game: Our "National Past Time" let me know what you think.
