Looking forward to the draw and thanks for your info. Definitely looking to engineer some form of trip over for at least a week, if not 10 days. Will see how the games fall. Planning for a Santiago base.
I am a Media Studies student at the University of California, Berkeley and I am interested in interviewing you. This brief (10 mins) phone interview will be regarding the way you use the Bleacher Report site and the ways you believe it has change sports journalism and the ways in which it is consumed. Please let me know if you are available to speak. It will be especially interesting since it appears you are a fan of South American football like me.
I'm at Arsenal Anderlecht tomorrow to hopefully see this 4-4-2-ish shape (as you rightly point out) in the flesh so I can assess it properly. It's intriguing, as AFC haven't played anything this close to a 4-4-2 since the days of Thierry Henry.
I haven't seen Chile since the World Cup, but at the WC I felt he always started to the right and your No. 10 (Vidal) was likely the "striker" if there was one - Alexis and Edu were wide forwards.
I'm actually really hoping to make it out to Chile for the Copa America. I'm saving up.
Oh, and Arsenal fans ADORE Alexis. He's easy to love!
In short, I don't like what Pep does with Lahm. I agree with all of your points, and criticially the one about him being able to control a game from RB is true. There's no need to move him inside!
