Miah's Bio

Hi! ;-)

I am 20 and I live in Montreal.
I love writing, and I love Hockey. So the combination of the two made me a proud member of Bleacher Report.
My favourite team? The Montreal Canadiens. But please, do not include me in the extreme type: throwing beverages and burning cars is definitely not my type of thing to enjoy hockey! ;)

The last time they won the Cup, I was 6. So three words would define what type of fan I am: humble, patient, and hopeful ! When the Habs do not play anymore, I never really switch to another team but I do keep watching hockey.
Winter is great for Hockey and for snowboarding. Week nights are great for Two and A Half Men, Seinfeld and Family Guy. June is great for the Grand Prix du Canada. And September is great for the annual team's Jamboree.

For any question, comment about the Montreal Canadiens section, feel free to leave a note here or on Matt Eichel's board. Matt is also a Montreal Canadiens community leader here on BR.

If you feel like just talking about Hockey (any team!), always drop by. I won't be able to name your complete roster, but I'll try to figure out your best players and your number one goalie so we'll be able to chat!

I hope to hear from you soon,
And if you are not a BR member yet, sign up to be part of an amazing community.

hugs, and Go Habs,
Miah :)

  1. Hey let's get Part II of the Off-season articles going. Defense?

  2. Streit may go to free agency.

    Tanguay to Montreal.

    Sundin being a drama queen.

  3. Hey! Keeping busy? Me too!

Sundin is driving me up the wall, to be honest.

I think Locke will leave, he's not in the long-term plans. As for Halak, we'll see.

  4. So what do you think about the draft so far?

  5. Will be very interesting to see when and if Sundin does indeed sign. We can expect a few players unhappy, but if they can get the job done why not have them in the team.

  6. not sure if you saw this already

    Enjoy the draft :)

  7. Thanks!!

  8. Getting excited about the draft for the first time in years.

  9. Its thanks to french dictionary's, online translator and my french speaking gf.

  10. Hey, thanks for the add! Hope your offseason isn't as difficult to bear as mine is...

  11. Haha, actually Lacasse is 100% Quebec French. So nevermind the Slovakian thing, that's just Halak. But that would be good to get some French goaltending in there since most of the best goalies in the league are French (aka Brodeur, Luongo, Roy was)

  12. Hey Miah you seemed to have thanked me twice for an add once 13 days ago and another 4 days ago I hope there is not a glitch or something

  13. Good point. Remember Loic Lacasse? He was a Slovakian goalie I believe that was supposed to be the next upcoming Euro goalie? Maybe he's still in the system. Or they'll grab someone from their ECHL team. That's where Desjardins was before Hamilton. But I like the prospect of Desjardins backing Price up in the future.

Thanks! It's a sweet deal and I'm loving being the CFL CL!

  14. How about Danis gone? I remember listening to a radio game between Manitoba and Hamilton just before the AHL Playoffs and that Danis just wasn't the same goalie he was when he was first with Montreal. Remember his first game against Atlanta? I thought he would be the next starter. Kind of reminds me of the Mathieu Garon situation.

  15. would never happen, keep dreaming.
