I am a junior at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fl. There, I am a Social Sciences Education Major. I am a big sports fan as well as athlete. I have played baseball, soccer, tennis and golf for most of my life. However, soccer stands out for me.
My favorite team is Liverpool Football Club, and, I follow them avidly. My fandom began in 2007 when I caught the Champions League Final on ESPN (before liking soccer was cool). Since then, I have been in love with the game, the club and anything related to soccer. I am a part of an officially licensed Liverpool supporters' club in Tampa, one of the few in America. There, I and many others congregate for almost all club matches and international tournaments. It is a great group and outstanding atmosphere to belong to. Apart from Liverpool, I would say that I am admirer of Real Madrid. As for my favorite players, I would say that I am a huge fan of Johann Cruyff, Michael Laudrup and Zinedine Zidane. Currently, my two favorite players are Lucas Leiva and Luis Suarez.
Aside from the pitch, you can find me studying, reading, writing, exercising and playing music. Music is also a big part of my life. I play guitar and sing and find it extremely rewarding. Beyond the music of my hands and voice, some of my favorite bands are Muse, The Black Keys, Bloc Party, the Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes.
Lastly, I am pursuing Bleacher Report as an endeavor because I derive much personal satisfaction from writing and I think it is a unique platform to share mutual interests as well as opinions and insights with the global community. I look forward to publishing and sharing my ideas as well as taking in yours to make this a vibrant online community. Cheers!
