Bob's Bio

Life long Dodger fan, Bob Raines is the Superintendent of Alexander Valley Union School District in Sonoma County, California. Though raised in Southern California, and a graduate of UCLA (BA '77) and Pepperdine (MS '88), he has lived in Northern California for nearly 20 years. He has been the subject of innumerable jibes, insults, and challenges as he proudly wears his Dodger Blue in the land of Orange and Black (and sometimes the Green and Yellow Land of the East Bay), but most years he can calmly point to the standings, the scoreboard, or the season series records and claim some sort of moral superiority.
