Barry is a San Francisco native. He roots for all his hometown sports teams. A graduate of the University of San Francisco, he was lucky enough to be sports editor for the Foghorn, USF's student newspaper. He also was lucky enough to broadcast men's basketball and soccer on KUSF, the campus's student-run radio station with a listener audience of +/- 29.
A communications, public affairs and marketing professional, Barry and his wife live on the San Francisco Peninsula. They have five children: three adult humans, a golden retriever and cat. The four-legged children are just as beloved as the humans.
just read your article on Pagan. You mentioned he had back spasms in 2011 and his batting average dropped to .262. Back spasms are very serious, they kill muscle tissue, much like a stroke shuts down part of the brain. If he lost time due to back spasms then he is not 100 per cent and never will be. He has lost flexibility and strength in his back therefore No diving catches and no great throws. Anyway, all is not lost if we can get the Cuban... see below
please help me keep tabs on the Cuban..yuenis cespuedes .. great talent and very available... if the Giants are not actively pursuing him ... they will regret it. plays outfield with speed and power.
Shoot me an email, I'd like you to have a look at the first two segments.
My take on the Melk Man
Feel free to use any of these figures as well -
Hey Barry ~
It's actually a really good read.
Hey, would you be able to send your e mail to firstname.lastname@example.org? I want to get the B/R community leaders on a mailing list for a press release on behalf of Sports Media 101.
Had to tab you as one of my favorite writers in the bay area scene. Your takes are more thoughtful and sophisticated than the norm here. Keep it up.
