You wrote that article about Brendan Schaub over a year ago. The article "Does anyone care to see Brendan Schaub compete in the octagon again?" was written Feb 25th, 2013 and it couldn't have been more accurate one year later.
The fight with Andre Arlovski at UFC 174 sealed the deal for me. Actually I thought Schaub was overrated since the Ultimate fighter 10. He's never impressed me....ever. He is a boring, mediocre, glass chin striker. He should be dropped from the promotion after this showing. His one dimensional, predictable style is unimaginative and I don't believe he has any Pay-Per-View draw.
I cant decide what bothers me more about Brendan: His self promoting, twitter fueled blathering...or his strategy of fighting aging fighters out of their prime to stack his paltry record. Thank the Gladiator Gods, most of those washed up, out of their prime, aging champions slap him around like the prima donna he's become.
Just wanted to say thanks for putting the article out there, and reassure you, I agree whole heartedly. It was prophetic.
