Allen's Bio

- Name is Allen Levin. I'm a Junior at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. I am a Journalism Major and am double minoring in Criminal Justice and Hospitality Management. My goal is to either work for ESPN as an NBA correspondent... broadcast or print...or work for the Miami Heat. Either way, I want my career to be in Sports Journalism, regardless of where it's at.

- Currently, I am a staff writer for the UCF student newspaper, the Central Florida Future- where I have covered beats such as Men's Soccer, Men's Baseball, and Women's Basketball . This year I hope to cover Men's Basketball, especially with the arrival of Michael Jordan's son, Marcus Jordan.

- I also currently write/blog for two other Sports Websites, also covering the Miami Heat and NBA.
- I am currently an intern for the Seminole Chronicle, where I freelance and cover high school football.
- I have also interned with the Orlando Sentinel in 2008, where I was a freelance writer.

- Of equal importance, I am a die-hard Miami Heat fan. I also happen to be the Bleacher Reports Miami Heat Community Leader. I watch every game and the team is a huge part of my life. I am also a big fan of the Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, and of course the UCF Knights!!!

If you would like to be part of the Miami Heat Community here on B/R...Please contact me through a comment on my profile or e-mail me at allenlevin2003@yahoo.com.

Other accomplishments:
- Bleacher Report's UCF Football Featured Columnist
- I have had two articles published nationally on CBS Sportsline:

-a Florida Marlins article: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/132565-spring-training-guide-florida-marlins
-a Miami Heat article: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/96879-the-top-five-most-missed-miami-heat-players

I have a Miami Heat blog, which can be found on my profile here on B/R.

I am also starting my own website, called allenlevin.com, which will be functional soon.
