Zach Campbell commented on Is Tavon Austin the Nation's Best Playmaker?:
Fellas, before you get on the defensive because some 'upstart' WVU fan had the gall to assert that Tavon's Austin's numbers will increase this year in...

I guess you could say I was born and bred to love sports.
My mom was a junior-olympic volleyball player and played college basketball. Two of her brothers were Division-1 basketball players at St. Joe's and West Virginia. The one that played at West Virginia (Tim Kearney) was a McDonald's All-American and eventual 3rd round draft pick of the Portland Trailblazers.
My dad? He was the Mountaineer mascot for West Virginia from 1979-1980. His stories from those days: priceless.
I'm a football and basketball nut and, though I wasn't blessed with my uncles' prodigious height (I'm 6'4" compared to their 7'0" status) I fared well athletically.
For me, this is a labor of love. B/R has yet to extend a paid opportunity to me (nor ESPN, SI or CBS for that matter). So, until then, I'll be sounding off as often and as loudly as I can about all things Washington Redskins, West Virginia Mountaineers and various other things in between.
I'm a Leesburg, VA native and, as such, grew up a jaded Redskins fan. I'm hopeful yet pragmatic. Celebratory yet not over-indulgent. But I do believe RGIII is the future and thankfully, that future is now.
I'm a sucker for warm days out on the deck, Victory brewing company, anything with sriracha and going to war over movie trivia.
Thanks for reading.
Seth Doege will be in the top 3 QB's in the Big 12, take away half the team being injured by the end of the season last year and he ends up even better. Its easy to say WVU QB will be a top QB b/c he hasn't played against these teams and there is plenty of optimism to think that, same with TCU qb. But a guy like Seth Doege who is returning, played 80% of these teams last year and knows there defenses, and on top of all that will have a WR corps IMO better than anyone elses in the Big 12. If TTU can get over the injury hump, neither WVU or TCU qb's will be better than Doege.
he could be headed to WVU this fall, could be a nice pleasant addition.
