Desmond Howard's "Hello Heisman" punt return against Ohio St. in 1991
-
Most Memorable Game Attended
The Braylon Edwards wide receiving clinic against MSU on Oct. 30th, 2004 during the last 7 minutes of the game for one of the greatest comebacks I have ever seen.
-
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
I always used to say Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points in an NBA game, but with the current state of the NBA, I will go with the Joe DiMaggio 56-game hit streak.
-
Ruth or Mays?
Willie Mays. I'm an athlete guy and Willie Mays beats out the Babe every time in that category.
-
Unitas or Montana?
Joe Montana. I was too young to fully appreciate his greatest years, but even as a very young child I can remember something magical about his game.
-
Jordan or Russell?
Michael Jordan. He's the greatest player to ever play the game and it's not close. Russell is a born winner, but if you have to win one game it's an easy choice.
-
Gretzky or Orr?
Gretzky. Like Jordan, he's easily the greatest player of all time. 215 points in a season is absolutely ridiculous.
-
Pele or Maradona?
Admittedly not a soccer historian, but I love watching Brazil play the game and nobody epitomizes that style and grace like Pele.
-
Federer or Sampras?
Huge fan of both, but Federer is the greatest of all time. In elite company with Jordan, Gretzky, etc.
-
Tiger or Nicklaus?
Tiger. Even given his recent...umm, struggles, I think he will bounce back. Winning the U.S. Open on one leg was one of the greatest performances I have ever seen in any sport.
-
Petty or Earnhardt?
Given my extreme dislike for NASCAR, I'm going to have to go with Tom Petty. One of the greatest songwriters of all time. (And yes, I know it's referring to Richard)
-
Schumacher or Senna?
I'm not even remotely qualified to weigh in on this one.
-
ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?
Overall my loyalties lie with the Big Ten, but I love ACC basketball and SEC football as well.
