Hello, Tyler Cashiola here. My life has revolved around sports ever since I was 5. I pledge my allegiance to the Houston Rockets. As a kid, seeing The Dream and Glide bring the hardware to Houston was the only thing that mattered to me in life. As a result I have been obsessed with the Rockets ever since. I am a traditional diehard, however I do feel like I have an objective view of the NBA and all things basketball considered. In regards to college sports I root for Texas Tech first and foremost. It's not the best sports program in the country by any standard, however, worse case scenario they keep things entertaining. In regards to the NFL, I root for the Eagles and the Texans. I didn't have a team to root for growing up due to the whole "Oilers" debacle so I just picked the team who I could root for and it would give me an incentive to root against the Cowboys. I enjoy the game of baseball and certain aspects of it, it is just not a sport I find myself following nearly as closely as the two aforementioned. I keep with my roots once again and root for the Astros and was there for a whole hose of prestigious events. I consider every sports team from Dallas a major rival and root for their teams to lose in each of their competitions. I enjoy good movies and music as well as a good political discussion. I'm currently a Communication Major at Texas Tech University and am an active member of their Debate team where we are currently ranked as the #1 team in the nation. I love sports and wish to have them as an integral part of my life for the rest of it.
