Casey's Bio
Even though he's a student at Rice University, Casey spent his formative in the beautiful, grandiose, and placid Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately, that means his teams are always one player away from dominating. Always.

I have a number of sites left that still needs a few teams for my fantasy baseball leagues. If you have the time and want some great competition drop me your e-mail on my board or contact me at rsmcloser@cox.net. Thanks

Attention Community Leader,
If you are getting this message, it's for one of a few reasons. Earlier this week I sent out a mass e-mail to all CL's. If you did not get this message, please post on my board and let me know. You either A)haven't checked your e-mail, B)just haven't replied or C)changed your e-mail from the last time I was updated, D) or something really odd happened to where you didn't get it (I've double and triple checked my names and e-mails, while possible, not sure how likely).
If you are not planning on returning as a Community Leader this 2009 season, it's important that you let me know. Either way, returning or not, either reply to my e-mail or post on my board. Spring Training is inching ever so-close, and it's important we know who is in and who's not so we can get the ball rolling.
If you do not reply to my e-mail or post a message on my board rather soon, I'm going to assume (provided there is a reason for an extended absence) that you no longer have the time and or desire to be a CL or you've left the site completely.
Thanks
-Nino

Hello Casey. Can I become a comunity leader for the Seattle Mariners?
Hi, I would like to become a community leader for the Seattle Mariners. How would I go about doing that?
Just a note to all community leaders. I'm trying to collect e-mails. I have most of them from when we did the awards, but If it's changed since then, or you are new to the team, make sure we're cool on the e-mail.
With Free Agency starting tomorrow, we should probably be thinking offseason plans. I encourage everyone to put up some sort of preview for their own team. Highlight some needs, maybe look at who your team has on the market, or potential targets. If enough people get in on it, I'll post a collective article to highlight everyone's work.
If your a new community leader, welcome aboard. If you've been around, make sure you go around, become a fan of some of the other CL's and support each other. We're a team here!

Got your e-mail from Rory, so I'm good Casey. Welcome to the team.

You provide the supplies and a nice hourly rate, and I could be there in a few days. Only one rule: I don't do dishes.

Casey:
The arrticle on Junior was first class all the way. You really captured the way kids mentally marry an athlete to a franchise- never shall the two be separated, 'til death do they part. That gets so lost today.
Junior was always going to be a Mariner, Dale Murphy was always going to be a Brave, and Pete Rose was always going to be a Red.
Thanks for helping me remember that child-like idealism where loyalty to a team meant something.

Casey-
I seriously cannot get over that Griffey article..Have you thought about publishing it somewhere else? It is definitely better than ESPN quality, you should try and approach someone, let me know if you'd like some help I'd be more than willing to work some connections we have at Bleacher Report.
Would you be interested in becoming a co-community leader for the Mariners?
Let me know. Take care
