About

I like to write and I'm a big Seattle sports fan (even though there's not much to root for right now). I enjoy sports news more than the actual games, except I can sit there and watch baseball and be thoroughly entertained. I spend a lot of my free time reviewing movies at www.couchpatrol.com.

Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

Gary Payton, Barry Sanders, Peyton Manning, Ken Griffey Jr., Edgar Martinez, Chris Paul, Albert Pujols, Brandon Roy

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks, Portland Blazers, NY Mets

  • All-Time Sports Moment

My high school rugby team taking 4th place at the national championships.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Seahawks vs. Broncos at the Kingdome, Seattle won 55-10 or something, Steve Largent leveled a Denver DB (as payback), loudest I ever heard a stadium.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

    Career wins by a pitcher

  • Ruth or Mays?

Mays - seemed like more of an athlete, but Ruth took the game to a new level

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana - I don't know much about Johnny U, but I'd take Steve Young over the both of them

  • Jordan or Russell?

Jordan - always Jordan (except in baseball)

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Gretzky - I don't know much about hockey

  • Pele or Maradona?

Maradona - Pele's better, but Maradona is more fun to say

  • Federer or Sampras?

Sampras - just because of his rivalry with Agassi

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Tiger - he's freakishly good, imagine if he had someone on the tour that could push him

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    Driving cars isn't a sport

  • Schumacher or Senna?

Once again, driving cars isn't a sport

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

    Pac 10

Correct: driving a car is not a sport. But auto racing is. But it's all in degrees.

Fat guy from Kentucky in a midget racing will always be midget racing. Fit guy from Milano with lightening fast reflexes has a better chance at making it to F1. Schumacher has to be fit and and be able to endure high heat, g-forces rivaling that of a F-15 pilot. Even a fit guy that's a really good driver (e.g. Richard Hammond) can just hop in an F1 car and drive (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGUZJVY-sHo)

Welcome to Bleacher Report, Scott! Hope the Seahawks will have a good season--it is, after all, the NFC West! :-) Cheers.
