Jake. English, living in Switzerland. LFC. Tennis in general, but particularly Djokovic and whenever I'm lonely, Maria Sharapova. Been writing since May 2011, and have also written articles on other websites, generally concerning Liverpool FC.
Jake, leave this Ashique alone, he did a great job proving how daft he is in the comments of that article. Just pray that one day he can see just how far his head is um in the dark spot between his legs, and can remove it.
Realized I never said it, but great article!
Well leave the article as it is, i am not the only one who feels the same way. Everything is there in place.
I am appalled and sickened though.
Its lazy! insensitive! offensive!
The title:
"Liverpool FC: 10 Reasons to Be a Cheerful Fan of the Club"
Contents:
"The reason (alleged racist remarks) is not something to be cheerful about, but the fact that this team seems to find controversy makes being a fan more engaging"
Contradictory? Double standard?
Its lazy! insensitive! offensive!
But Never! of what suarez said to evra be interesting and celebrated or interesting or liven things up! it should be dealt with punishment and seriousness! racism is not a joke, it should not be taken lightly!
"Liverpool FC: 10 Reasons to Be a Cheerful Fan of the Club"
That Drama slide is under that title! Talking about suarez being racist to someone is not interesting at all, i feel sickened by this and really sad because for supporters of all ethnic backgrounds it hurts to read stuff like that.
But no ways should that issue be something to be proud or cheerful about. In that "drama" slide you have caught yourself in a "double standard", which is lazy, careless and insensitive, through the title and the slide contents!
Imagine people who read this article and have been effected by "racism", such as being a victim or that a loved one is loss because of that issue and reads that its inclusion in the "drama" slide is dubbed as "cheerful".
Its not on, i have suffered racism and know people who have lost their lives to racism and the "drama" surrounding it, is not cheerful at all!
Suarez was charged with racism. The FA charged him with an 8 game ban. Liverpool supporters deserve better and suarez should be punished. But the drama surrounding it, is definitely not cheerful!
It should not be encouraged, that "drama" slide should be in a article named:
"10 reasons to be a concerned fan of the club"
Wow, that's far off. I'd go with yes though. He hasn't been too impressive as of yet, but if Kenny sees something in him, he's got it. I trust Kenny's judgment and I think Henderson won't be starting a ton at least in the first half this season. He'll develop and get a lot better under Kenny in the coming years. Good luck with that one. Can't wait to read it.
In a word, yes. He's just been so useless for us, and Hodgson and everyone just kept hyping him up and he's paid so much to just sit there. And he used to be very good, that's the worst part. I was also a big fan of Benayoun and I hate that we lost him and got Cole in return. I don't mind it quite as much now because we have a deep enough squad that at least we won't have to watch him play.
I think we paid a bit much for him, like United for Phil Jones, but we're paying for potential. I haven't been able to see much of him, but I trust Kenny's judgment.
No wonder you picked Gerrard as the best English midfielder
