Timothy's Bio
I was born and have lived in the great state of Alabama my entire life. I graduated Faulkner University (Montgomery, AL) with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in 2005 and am currently pursuing a Master's in Occupational Health & Safety. I work as the Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing company in my home town of Greenville.
I love sports on many levels, but my heart ever will be given to the University of Alabama's football program. From an early age I remember watching and falling in love with football - particularly the Crimson Tide.
I have several "sub-interests" as well, including North Carolina Basketball, Green Bay Packer Football, and Alabama Basketball. I'll watch and take interest in other sports from time to time, but college football will always be my number one passion.
I officiate high school football, an awesome way to keep myself in the sport and give back to something that has given me so very much. I talk sports, read sports, and on cool fall days in the Deep South live sports!
I don't claim to be a professional writer by any means. However, I do enjoy writing about sports, and writing in general, and have been told that I sometimes have a good way of presenting material through writing. I hope to one day work my way to a higher, more professional level of sports writing & editing.

Great idea for the football junkies out there. The only problem I see is that too many people (myself included) will simply vote for the coaches, players, teams, etc, that are their favorites. We'll see, though. I'll try to be as objective as possible.

Hey Timothy,
I'm hoping you'll check out my latest article about China, the Olympic games, protests, and our own responses to these current events. I'm making a concerted effort to reach out to people who have added me as a "favorite writer" to attempt to spark a discussion which affects us as sports fans and supporters of a forum for free-speech. Thank you for helping me to get the ball rolling!

P.S. - haha You got me good with the article about losing your job! I even shared it with some buddies of mine who sent their best wishes. Wow, man... really good.

Ah-hah—so that's why I didn't notice the first time around!
Is the entire thing made up, or are there certain things that are true about the piece? You really had us!

You really fooled everyone with the "Bleacher Report Killed My Career" article. Nice work.

It's not a problem. ESPN could use some competition - but it's sad its the only contending major sports broadcaster.

Hey Timothy,
I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.
Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Timothy!

Thanks for the add as a favorite writer. Looks like your Crimson Tide reeled in a pretty good class. I think Julio Jones could be an instant star on that team. I see you like Carolina basketball. Good man.
