My name is Jeff Engelhardt and I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I am currently the sports editor at the Daily Egyptian newspaper at Southern Illinois University. My main passion in sports is with combat sports, especially boxing and MMA.

The Milwaukee Bucks are my favorite sports franchise and I also like the Cubs, Bears and Patriots along with my SIU Salukis.

    I'm not a journalism major, believe it or not. I'm currently pursuing an English degree with a Writing Minor and a Communications degree with an emphasis in Journalism. I'm definitely interested in whatever you may have for me.

    Hey Jeff,

    I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.

    Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
