About Jeremy »

As an aspiring journalist, my number 1 love is sports. Writing about them, talking about them, watching them, whatever. Anything you can expect me to write is not regurgitated opinions from other people, it's my opinion based on statistics from sources and personal observations.

I am currently a Journalism and Media Studies major at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Within 2 years I should be graduating and hopefully heading up to CUNY Graduate School of Journalism to see if I can break into the biz in the biggest and greatest city in the world, New York.

My aims are to use bleacher report as a way to improve my writing, lay out my thoughts, and having debates with other intelligent sports fans. It's a personal release to write on this site. I also hope this could help be the springboard to other things post-graduation.

The Shortlist »

  • Favorite Athletes

Michael Vick, Devin Harris, DeMarcus Ware, Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, Zach Parise, Darrelle Revis, Larry Fitzgerald, Ken Griffey Jr, Carl Crawford, Calvin Johnson

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Dallas Cowboys, New York Mets, New Jersey Nets, New Jersey Devils, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Virginia Tech Hokies, New York Jets

  • Favorite Coaches

Jimmy Johnson is coach enough for the world

  • All Time Sports Moment

I dunno, probably the last championship from any of my favorite teams, which would be Dallas in 1995.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Um, probably the 44-6 beat down the Eagles gave the Cowboys the last game of 2008.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points in one game. No one has gotten within 19 of that record.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Ruth was a superb pitcher and hitter, so him. Mays is close though.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana, easily. Anyone with a 96 career postseason QB rating is the best in league history.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Jordan. Russell is probably not one of the top 5 basketball players ever, Jordan is in competition with only 1 man for the top spot.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

    Gretzky.

  • Pele or Maradona?

    No clue.

  • Federer or Sampras?

Is Federer even the best player in tennis now?

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Tiger. He's absolutely dominated at a young age.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    lol racing

  • Schumacher or Senna?

    um

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Nothing beats Big East basketball. Biased since I attend a Big East school, though.
