About Zane »

Hello, my name is Zane Daniels and I am the Cincinnati Bengals Community Leader/Superfan. If you are reading my profile that must mean you have some interest in the Bengals, which means we must have something in common, which means you're all time!

You and I share a special bond...we cheer for one of the most mismanaged franchises in all of professional sports. We have suffered through the Mike Brown era since 1991 and such draft picks as David Klingler, Akili Smith, Ki-Jana Carter and "Big Daddy" Dan Wilkinson. We have endured the bonehead off the field issues of Odell Thurman, Eric Steinbach, Frostee Rucker, Jonathan Joseph, Deltha O'Neal, Reggie McNeal, Matthias Askew, A.J. Nicholson and Chris Henry, aka the "one man crime wave." All of this and how has Mike Brown repaid us? Well with a 99-200 record (as of 9/22/08) and one playoff appearance in 17 years of course!

Anyway, I am a die-hard Cincinnati Bengal fan and always will be. I watch each game on Sunday as if there are actual playoff implications on the line. I get excited on Sunday and am ALWAYS extremely disappointed on Monday's....but I love the Bengals anyway.

I write article on all things Cincinnati Bengals and hope you enjoy them. I will try to write as often as possible. Also, don't be afraid to comment on my articles, I appreciate the feedback. Also, please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything.

Also, please feel free to check out OneManCrimeWave, a blog that was started by myself and fellow Bengals fan Bob Strickley. We write about all thing pertaining to the Cincinnati Bengals. Please feel free to check us out at www.onemancrimewave.blogspot.com or shoot us an email at onemancrimewave15@gmail.com with any suggestions on how we can make the site better or any questions that you might have.

As Always, Who Dey!!!

I am surprised by the number of people who actually want to reserve the right to bad-mouth their teams! I offer constructive criticism, of course, but one in particular wants to be able to say, "they suck," if they do.

I don't get it. Will YOU take the pledge?

    Zane,

I'm going to do a Mock Draft using all of the NFL Team Community Leaders as GM's.
If you would like to join, please e-mail your top 6 picks ASAP, I can get the draft out soon.
Make sure you order your picks in case Detroit, St. Louis, KC, Seattle, or Cleveland take any of your choices.

Feel free to converse with any of the other Bengals community leaders before you make your choice.

Depending on how quickly people respond, I'll decide if I'll go into round two.

    Thanks,

    John Arend
