Good morning, Gracie. I appreciate your looking to help my article with a headline edit. However, the focus of the article was not necessarily the NTRA or PETA. They were sidebars and add comments to the story, but not the main focus. It was much more about what I felt the need to do in pushing the story forward.
Please don't take this as a rebuke of any sort, but more a correction on the overall point of the story which I don't think was made clear with your revised headline. Please feel free to offer comments on any article. Best, Ed Berliner.

I understand the revisions that you made, and why you made them. In fact I appreciate the time and effort that you put into it. However, I just don't feel like the revisions you made make it feel as if I know less about football. Please don't take it as offensive. I'm an english/journalism major and I do understand grammar and style rules, but the way it is written depicts a certain way that scouts talk and sound. It's like scouting lingo or style. Also, I realize that there is a need for separating the the sentences into paragraphs as is common in journalism, but the article isn't a true journalism article. Please don't let this keep you from editing future articles of mine.
