I often go by the name The San Clemente Kid. I am an energetic 41 yr old with the energy of an 18yr old. I love God, my wife, son and sports...... it is the Raiders, Angels, Lakers, Kings hockey and USC and UCLA football. I really love my Raiders. I am not a high quality writer as some of you have seen but I do love to put my opinions out there in a mad rush of typing.

Please excuse the grammatical errors due to my brain moving much faster than my fingers.

I will try and make it over again next year, but it will probably be in October....ish, work and home commitments allowing.

I liked your article, but I have to say, we have some absolute fools making comments on the boards. Whatever you write, they aren't happy. It is a bad time for the Raider nation right now, we have o stick together.

What's the closest accommodation situation should someone fly in from the east coast?

Mike,

I would love to come over to the Raiders convention in September, but I' scheduled in for the two back to back home games in November (Falcons and Panthers).

If I had my way I would come to every game no matter how badly we played, but work commitments (and of course finance) are limiting factors.

When I come over, I will be meeting up with some guys off the Raidernews site for a Raider beer fest at Ricky's Bar. If you are in the neighbourhood would be happy to buy you a beer (or eight!) and talk Raider stuff till the early hours....an then some (any strip bars close by?).
