About

Deputy NFL Editor for Bleacher Report.

Proud graduate of Indiana University and the Ernie Pyle School of Journalism. I originally started as a blogger/film breakdown geek elsewhere before accepting an Associate NFL Editor position with Bleacher Report in March 2011. Just a small part of a larger success story, continually amazed by how far the B/R NFL community has come and how much potential it still has to grow.

My work has been featured on both ESPN.com and team blogs/message boards calling for me to be drawn and quartered. I'm not sure which I take more pride in.

I reside in my hometown of Indianapolis, IN, where I grew up a Colts and Pacers fan. These days, I am largely unbiased outside of my alma mater Hoosiers, who would surely beat every team 150-2 were it not for B1G officials. At least that's what I tell myself. I enjoy writing, reading, being reminded that I have lost the vast majority of my high school athleticism in soccer league play, and building up hopeless pigskin programs in NCAA Football on PS3. Not that I know of any, or graduated from any.

I welcome any creative insults of my articles that fall within community standards and guidelines. If you can compare me to a disappointing character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or a forgotten boy band, by all means, have at it!

Beyond that, if you have any questions about sportswriting, NFL coverage or concerns about B/R, feel free to e-mail me at cmccollough@bleacherreport.com

Hey Collin, whats up? This is Hoopsdoc from Coltsfreaks. Love your stuff, you've got a heckuva future as a writer. Hope to see you around the Freaks this season. We need your game breakdowns, otherwise all we've got are Omaha's. Which totally suck balls. Later, man.

    Truth Will Be Revealed

    Yo Collin,

I read your NFL's worst article...I then began wondering why I have never read any of your artticles before. You sir are hilarious, I would say that article made my night, but that's where it gets a bit akward. I'll be sure to check out more of your articles.

    Hey Collin.
I run my own little football blog, more for fun than anything, and like most fans of the NFL I've been following the "Bountygate" story. I have to say, your article on why the Saints should fire Sean Payton is one of the best I have seen on the subject. You cut straight through the bias and down to the facts, to the point that most fans (especially Saints fans) would probably like to ignore. Sean Payton must go, along with possibly all of their upper management, those who did nothing to stop this. Listening to the Williams tape, you could almost see a scene straight out of a Mafia movie, with the lead gangster putting out hits on his enemies. I find it disgusting that Gregg Williams has yet to be arrested, for if this happened anywhere outside of a locker room, he would have been in jail long ago. What he did is not just wrong for the NFL, its a crime.
Anyway, I didn't mean to rant, but I found your article to be the most accurate and most importantly, Just writing on the internet. I hope many of the people in high places read this and take your suggestions to heart.

Hi, I'm the real Adarn Schefter. Thanks for the article about me. I'm not just a troll, me and my friend wanted to see what would happen if we just f'ed around on twitter, but I do a serve a purpose of showing how gullible and stupid the media & people can be. If you want proof that I'm the real Adarn, hit me up on twitter and I'll respond to you. Anyway, thanks for the support. I'm not really sure if I want to keep using Adarn though, the pressure & hate keeps building.
