Sox N Celts fan. Love baseball in general. Unprofessional fantasy baseball pro, you may be playing against one of the teams I drafted. I'm here to offer my insight in discussions and bring reason to conjecture. I'm pretty awesome that way.
I apologize, it all starts to run together after a while (ha,ha). Well, in that case, I might tend to agree with you more but I haven't heard much about it? Be interesting to see if that's what they do!
Christopher, it may not seem as crazy now as it did a few months ago when you first posed the question of Bard in the closing role. However, keep in mind, at this point, it's Bard by default AND the Sox will still be looking for a closer. Which tells me they don't have much confidence in him in that role!
Christopher, thanx for the like. I appreciate the read.
Glad you liked my article on pitchers becoming managers. Appreciate the support very much.
Thanks for the link on Bard. I still don't see it happening though. He (Rob Bradford) is the only one I've heard say that so far. Even if Papelbon ends up re-signing with the Sox, I just can't imagine it happening, Bard has trouble pitching more than one innning BUT, I've been known to be wrong before, so I guess we'll see what happens.
Christopher, wondering if you'd like to add your input to my latest piece? Would welcome your comments...
