Josh's Bio
November 4, 2009: I'm back on BR after a three month hiatus. At first I left because I didn't like what this website was becoming. I decided to come back a while ago, but I didn't have the time because of college apps. As for the first reason, I figured it wasn't the website's problem, but it was certain comments I found on many articles that drove me away. This was a great website when I started and I want it to stay that way, so the best way to make this website better is to be a positive contributor. And that applies to anyone.
I'm 17 and I'm currently the sports editor of an award winning high school newspaper. Ten years ago, Amalie Benjamin was the sports editor of the same paper. Now she's the beat writer for the Red Sox on the Boston Globe, so hopefully I have something going for me. I know I'm pretty young, but if you use my age against me in an argument, it shows your immaturity, not mine.
Basketball is my favorite sport, both college and pro. Baseball is a really close second. I also love the NFL and I've recently been getting into soccer, but I probably won't write about it much. Favorite teams are in the short list.
I'm also writing for a blog called "Celtics 17." It's run by another BR member, Graham Brunell, and many other BR writers are involved with it. It's a great blog for timely information, rumors, and opinions about the Celtics and the NBA. I think any basketball fan would enjoy it.
