Hailing from the small Northwestern Ontario home of Chris Pronger in Dryden, Matt Eichel has been obsessed with the game of hockey since he started playing the mid-90s. A hard-core Montreal Canadiens fan, he has followed the team since witnessing the 93 Stanley Cup victory.

    the kovalev koivu thing is just ridiculous ... I thought everyone was saying Koivu was the heart and the soul and this stuff ... I hope they will come up with something, hopefully there won't be any choice to be make between them . personnaly I would go for kovalev. Daniel too, I think.

    in the end, they both should be captains, like Drury and Briere back in their times with Buffalo

    I think u're probably right about the experience thing, for sure, they will know what it s like in the playoffs now and they will probably be the next version of this year's penguins ...

    it is just killing me . i hate it when the season is over! lol

    well, yeah, it has been an amazing season ...

    Ryder's gone for sure. Before the trade deadline he was saying the his days are numbered in Montreal and look who got traded instead.

    I have a feeling they'll try to get a veteran goaltender in Montreal. I have nothing against Price,but we need experience in the net.

    not really a good way,but at least we made it when they said we wouldn't even make it to the playoffs. Do you expect any changes over the summer?

    is he going to announce it over the course of the day or we're going to wait till tomorrow night again?!

    did u see Kovalev's picture on HabsInsideOut, when he stares with anger at the Flyers, with the coach behind him... gosh, revenge! revenge! lol

    hopefully, Carbo will go with Price.
    I had a bunch of friends who have been driving down to Philadelphia, thinking Price would get the start. they got so pissed to see Halak afterwards! "driving 8 hours to see Halak", big time!

    oh my, I am watching the red wings/avs game, I hope saturday will not look like this ... poor theo ...

    so Halak back in the net, I really hope he will have his type of play at his game vs Islanders this year.

    I hope Price is okay psychologically with the decision, it is not the time to get desperate

    I don't know what's happening.When Halak got in net,all of a sudden they score 2 goals in a row. Carbonneau needs to sit and have a talk with Price. We can't lose another game and risk loosing the series in Montreal.

    of course, Price back in game four. hopefully, this was enough for a wake up call for him!

    did u see what happened to Kostopoulos all over the night? the Flyers just had him in their picture!

    yes, begin back with the other two, he had just three hits tonight ... that is a big low from Begin!

    gosh that was a bad game, the five on three in the first ...
    good thing: saku koivu is amazing!
