"It might not be about race but it is about fairness. MJ was treated badly. There was and is a sociocultural divide between the players who are predominantly black and religious and the ownership group who are predominantly white and agnostic. The fact is that the ownership group did not care or take into account how this would look. It's pretty obvious that whether it is racially motivated or motivated by competition that on the surface a black man got hired for less than half the salary that the white guy got. Heck I'm a white guy and even I see that as being wrong no matter what drove it. "

Yeah i think they fired Mark because he was a bad coach. Kind of apparent with what Kerr is doing this year with virtually the same roster.

"He only was an NBA coach for 3 years. Did you become a master at your job after 3 years? The managment didn't allow the guy to learn the job they gave him a short leash and then they fired him." - Andrew Culwell on Mark Jackson

Well they did give Kerr the job and he did make the warriors the best team in the nba in his first year. Hell the season isn't even over yet.

    Hi Andrew-

Thanks for the comment. I should have specified...Duke only used 8 players for the entire game, compared to UNC who used 11. Just my way of saying Duke needed to utilize better. Thanks again for reading!
