Discussing anything and everything from simple changes in the rules, to which team was better in the past, is better now, and will be better in the future. The conversations were in-depth, and it has helped shape my knowledge on the great game of hockey.

The Edmonton Oilers are the team I fully support, from the 05-06 Cup run, to the slumping season thereafter. Watching people leave, and the new, young faces arrive has been a refreshment to a still young hockey team in terms have players, but not in history.

Living in Edmonton has also helped me gain a general knowledge of players in the area, and having certain members of my family in facets of the media has also played a key role in my interest growing. I moved around a lot when I was younger, seeing as I am a Military Child. Most recently though, it has been in major hockey markets such as Colorado, Toronto, and now here in Edmonton. All storied histories, and I enjoyed my time in each location. Of course, I prefer Edmonton to them all.
