Andy's Bio

A Formula One fan for more than ten years, I have been following the sport in-depth for most of this time and have gathered a few strong, but reasoned opinions during my time. The articles I contribute to the Bleacher Report will be a mixture of news reporting and opinion, focusing on Formula One and the world surrounding this most fascinating and unique of sports.

Well, after a long absence, I'm back. Where have I been? Mostly messing around with my own motorsports website, http://www.runoffarea.co.uk. Maybe I can find time for both.

  1. It works now yep, and looks great. I won't rush it, I'll check it out properly tomorrow and have a good read of it all.

    Thanks Andy =D

  2. I can't write articles, I enjoy reading about the sports I like, from another persons p.o.v but not my own.

  3. Thanks Andy,
I've tried but can't click on your link? Or is that the humour?
It doesn't work for me, just says error.

  4. Hello Andy, here is the follow up article on George Martin. I would appreciate it if you would take a look at it and leave your support in the comment area. Feel free to pass it around. Thanks!

  7. Would you like to play F1 2009? Would you like to replicate some of the phenomenal races from this season? Well you can!

Bleacher Report is running the seventh edition of it's F1 world championship, with the last season coming down to the final race with Ian Kilpatrick, Michael Griffin and Ibo Montoya all been separated by just two points. This season could be even closer, but to find out, you must join www.batracer,com!

The text below is an example of instructions to enter this game.

Players will need to be registered and logged in before they can enter the private game. When logged in, clicking the following URL will take you to the join game page:

    http://batracer.com/-cj?&D&40682

Alternatively, you can select "private games" from the menu and enter the number "40682" into the box. The game password is "brawn". Take care not to accidentally join a public game by mistake.

    Hope to see you there!

  8. Why are you not on my BATracer team?

  9. It's that time again, at long bloody last, for a new Roundtable, and myself and LJS have agreed on a new topic.

What was your most memorable moment of the 2008 Formula One Season?

Contributions must be a minimum of 250 words and no more than 1250 (we're going big on this one) and they must be sent to mikegriffin_911@btinternet.com

Closing date is Sunday 26th October, if you have any reason to need one more day, that shall be granted.

I'm sure I can count on you for the POTD and stars for it.

  10. Andy, drop me a line on my BB.

Are you in for writing a driver's, owner's, official's or engineers Bio for the B/R F1 Hall of Fame?

We are building the biographies of the F1 greats and need your help.

Confirm with me or Paul Heffernan if you are up for it.
