Thanks for the comments and input Michael, but he is never mentioned outside of New York media, especially since Ripken broke his record of 2130 games. He has never once been meantioned in ANY "best of" list regarding MLB, and always slips into the shadows of baseball immortality. He is a top-5 player and is more often considered a top-15 player.
