About Luke »

I love tennis. My favourtie player of all-time is Richard Krajicek. His triumph at Wimbledon in 1996 was the the first match can remember and I was only six at the time. However, I will always remember him for his incredible run to the quarters during his last Wimbledon appearance in 2002. His body was falling apart throughout the entire event, yet he battled on.

My favourite active player is Marcos Baghdatis. He brings a warm feeling to the court with his infectious smile. He's by no means the best player around and he never will be, but he's a great character to have on the tour. When he smiles, I can't help but smile as well.

Hey,

Following up yesterday's great debate is the one I've been waiting to write for a long time, and the one I think may be the best debate yet and a must-read for any football fan! Should video technology be introduced into football? Would doing so take away from the 'magic' that makes the game so great? And would it help or hinder the referees? Have your say in the Great Debate!

Hi Luke, how's it going?

I broke my inactivity with this preview of Memphis versus Kansas in this week's Hall of Fame Showcase tournament:

If you get a moment, take a peek and let me know what you think.

Good evening! I'd like to refer you to a piece that was written by Juan which I think could serve as a good tool for younger writers.

Luke,

I really thought you’d find this piece something you’d want to read on this Veteran’s Day.

Hi Luke, how are you?

I appreciated your comments on the Andre Agassi article that Rob York wrote (though we don't quite agree). It led me to see what you might think about this article by Bob Warja:

It was just a one word comment on what (little) I have seen of the tennis domain over the last few weeks. All the rankings have changed and people are not best pleased! I have to say, the rankings seem to be a bit crazy - can see why people are cheesed off!

How are you? I've just been sooo busy I am finding it hard to get the time to come on to BR and read articles, never mind actually writing one :(

Thanks for the note, Luke! I'm so happy that my mom has beat cancer again. She will probably be around longer than I will!

Her mom lived to the ripe old age of 97, so my Mom has 34 more years to go by that measure! :-)
