Kristian Winfield is a sophomore broadcast journalism major and sports management minor at the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University -- an HBCU located in Hampton, Va. He has worked with Bleacher Report as both a sports writing intern in the Summer of 2011 and a Featured Columnist shortly afterwards.

At Hampton University, Kristian the Sports Editor for the weekly publication, The Hampton Script. He is also the Sports Producer for 88.1 FM WHOV Scripps Howard News Watch.

He is pursuing the path of a beat writer for an NBA or NFL team, before making his way into reporting. Kristian also has dreams of working in the front office, possibly a managerial position, for an NBA or NFL team.

    Kristian, thanks for the edit on my College Football piece today.

    I have a quick question: on my B/R sportswriter profile, the article is showing without a picture. I feel as if my Introduction slide is being treated as a regular slide because the format of the intro looks different as well.

    If you have any insight or an answer, that'd be great.
