About

Born in the red clay of Oklahoma, I was destined to ultimately become a diehard Red Sox fan. I've lived in the northeast for the past 11 years, and TiVo just about every game. I suffered through the Carl Everett years, and the night of Aaron-f*ing-Boone, so I do not consider myself a bandwagon fan leeching off their recent glory. In fall and winter, I enjoy following the Sooners and Patriots.

    Mays. The better all-around athlete, and not surrounded with the Murderer's Row supporting cast.

    Without Jerry Rice, there is no Montana. Unitas was a grinder.

    Jordan. Hands down the greatest athlete to play basketball, and perhaps any sport.

    Gretzky. The nickname says it all.

    ...

  • Federer or Sampras?

    ...

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Ultimately, it will be Tiger. He's not even close to finished.

    Hey man,

    Thanks for the fan-add. Like your Red Sox stuff. I always love reading stuff written by reasonable fans of the Red Sox, Cowboys, Fightin' Irishes, etc. of the world. So hard to find rationale stuff written by the national media about those teams.

    I think that's what really drives a lot of the animosity towards them. That and all the damn winning ;-)
