Justin's Bio
I am a current resident of New York City but grew up in Tipp City, Ohio. Being from Ohio, most would expect me to be an Ohio State fan, but I am an avid Michigan fan and went to my first Michigan football game (the 1983 Rose Bowl) just 62 days after being born. As my parents say, I was ok the whole game, but when it ended and Michigan lost to UCLA, I started crying - and that's when they knew I was a Michigan fan.
I have covered the Indianapolis Colts for three years, including at Super Bowl XLI, and worked for the Cleveland Browns and the National Hockey League. I have written blogs for NHL players, Sheldon Souray and Ryan Miller, that have been published in Maxim and AskMen.com. I have also served on the NFL's public relations staff at Super Bowls XLI and XLIII, and currently the New York Jets' gameday PR staff.
I am married to a life-long Notre Dame fan, which only adds to the family rivalry I grew up with (a Michigan-grad mom and Ohio State-fan dad).
Even though I've never lived in Michigan, I've been to at least one game per season for the last 10 years (last year was at Penn State).
The top Michigan games I have been to, in chronological order, are:
1995 "Touchdown" Tim Biakabatuka game vs. Ohio State
1999 Win over Notre Dame
2001 "Spartan Bob" game at Michigan State
2003 Loss at Iowa
2006 "Game of the Century" at Ohio State
When I'm not writing about or watching college football, you can usually find me playing golf, catching a concert, relaxing in Central Park, or at a baseball game.
Go blue!

I've spent the past several weeks adding to a piece dedicated to one of the father's of college football, Knute Rocke. In time for his dedication tomorrow at Notre Dame Stadium, I present to you the true and inspiring story of the most renown coach in the game:
Don't be shy, and as always, feedback is appreciated.

The Michigan/Notre Dame game has the feel once again of a typical rivalry game. Both teams look good last week, but see what the Irish NEED to do in order to be successful for a second Saturday in a row. Don't be shy, even you Wolverines!

I realized the BCS is better than a play-off, and decided it needed to be defended. I'd love your input.
