Fair play T, you were almost spot on in your prediction.

For the record I still think Chelsea will win the title (as I have done since match one of the season), but its great to be top at any stage so I am not complaining.

We were fortunate to play you when you were down to kids on the bench, and took full advantage.

I was a little worried for the last 20 mins of the first half, but in the 2nd half I honestly wasn't that nervous, we contained you very well and looked the more likely to score (and probably should have done but for some stray final passes on the break).

If Liverpool can make their challenge last until April, then that will be enough for most fans. With any club you get a loud minority who claim they will do this and that every season, but I don't think, even after this win, that many Liverpool fans really think we will win the league.

We do have hope now though, and we haven't really had that since the summer of 2002 after we had finished 2nd to Arsenal the previous season.

Sadly Houillier then ballsed it up with some terrible signings. Who knows what will happen this time round?
