Andrew's Bio

To the left is a picture of me near the top of Mt. Lemmon -- the only location of snow in Tucson, Arizona.

Currently in high school, I run cross-country and track (one-mile and two-mile). I have a deep love for all Minnesota sports, but I have a deeper love for my Creator, Jesus Christ. I believe that I am saved by grace, through faith in Christ alone. I hope to bring you entertaining and relevant articles while I rant on whichever Minnesota sport happens to be struggling.

I recently came closer to Mexico when I moved to Tucson, Arizona, but moved farther away from my Minnesota sports.

No, I don't limit my interests to Minnesota sports. I love all sports, but I tend to gravitate towards baseball. I will try to find peace with Arizona fans and maybe pick up a team or three.

I may have to see someone about this, but I almost enjoy the MLB off-season better than the regular season...

...maybe it's something in the 100-degree-at-8-am-air...(but don't worry, it's a dry heat)...

I love to come home on Sunday to three football games, then another on Monday. I was also asked to blog at _______. I really enjoy doing that daily, so drop by and tell me what you think!

I am one of the Minnesota Twins Featured Columnists here on Bleacher Report. Feel free to drop me a line if you want!

On a side note, I was the feature story on SI's Campus Clicks for July 22nd, 2008. Here's the link:

  2. Andrew,

I wrote an article on the History of the Packers - Vikings rivalry. While of course, I'm a Packers fan, I think I was pretty fair with this article and that Vikings fans will enjoy it also. If you agree, please spread the word in your community. I'm posting this just to the Vikings Community leaders.

Oh, I also encourage readers to leave their opinions of what will happen in Lambeau...

  6. Brad Lidge, Brian Fuentes, Jonathan Broxton, and Mariano Rivera got it done.

Huston Street, Jonathan Papelbon, Ryan Franklin, and Joe Nathan did not.

The first four will be playing in the next round. The last four will not.

I think that's proof just how important closers are to their respective teams in the playoffs...

  7. Andrew and all you other Minn. Twins writers and FCs:

    Congratulations! Go Twinkies!

I remember reading a mid season story bout how the Twins were blowing games. What a turnaround.

I was rooting for the Twins. I think it is a terrific story for baseball.

  10. besides ppl write pro derek jeter mvp articles and don't label that humor, that's the real problem

  11. referring to the Mauer Cuddyer article, why do you think it should be humor?

I admit it isn't mainstream thinking right now, but that doesn't mean it can be dismissed.

Most people at least have Cuddyer in the top 5/10 at this point.
