About Ari »

(The guitarist all the way on the right is me)
From New York City, I am a huge fan of the Yankees and a loyal but frustrated fan of the Manhattan College Jaspers. Baseball and college basketball are my favorite sports to watch and will be the main subjects of my writing. Other than sports, music is a passion of mine. My band's myspace page was updated in June with three fresh recordings, which can be heard at www.myspace.com/thesunnysideup .

Finally a high school senior, I will become very busy very soon, but I hope to continue participating in the Bleacher Report community as long as I can find the time to.

I am a Featured Columnist and the Community Leader for the MAAC here on Bleacher Report, so if you want to join or write something, feel free to contact me.

As bad as they look, they are incomparable to NJIT. Alcorn State will win a few games this year.

New Article: What Manhattan Jaspers Can Learn From Loss To William & Mary

William & Mary 75 Manhattan 70 Game Analysis The motion set that head coach Barry Rohrssen prefers rarely leads to anything better than a forced jumper as the shot clock winds down. In the motion offense, the Jaspers lack fluidity...

Speaking of the MAAC, how does Rider lose by 30-something to Virginia after beating Miss. St. and Lehigh? :) :) Wonder how they'll do at UK ... :)

Man, things look a lot different around here! For some reason, it doesn't look like I can currently "like" an article (pick it or whatever). I think I have a lot of catching up to do, but I'm ready to start rocking on some UNC, ACC and CBB articles! :) It's been a crazy year, but I couldn't stay away forever. ;) What fan bases will I enrage this year? I'm guessing Kentucky and Dayton again. LOL. Looking forward to that UNC-UK game big-time ... going to be a bumpy season for the Heels but they should be a heck of a lot better in March than they are now.

Hey Ari. I'm probably not gonna do a write-up on the Siena/Northeastern game. Pretty strong defensive battle between the two teams, both struggled to score, close game the whole way. Rossiter played well in the second half and Siena got a little space after Northeastern lead 20-6 to start the game. Ubiles had 20+ in the game, but Northeastern's inability to score ultimately cost them in the end. Close game, good one to watch, both teams should be solid this season, especially if they continue to play defense like they did today.

    Hey Ari. What's going on?
Just wondering if you were planning on writing anything up for the northeastern/siena game on tuesday? I am trying to go to the game right now and was planning on writing up something about the game...lemme know man.

Florence (Flo) looked really good this weekend...especially in the first game against Bucknell (33 points). Mercer's started the season well with two wins (and a two point loss to Providence), so we'll see what the season holds.

I work promotions on the court for the team's home games as well as broadcast the women's BB games on ASun.TV (conference's webstream). I'm ready to see if Flo can light it up against FSU this next weekend after a dust-up against Fisk University on Wednesday.

Should be interesting. Good to see the Jaspers in the 'W' column!
