Ari's Bio

(The guitarist all the way on the right is me)
From New York City, I am a huge fan of the Yankees and a loyal but frustrated fan of the Manhattan College Jaspers. Baseball and college basketball are my favorite sports to watch and will be the main subjects of my writing. Other than sports, music is a passion of mine. My band's myspace page was updated in June with three fresh recordings, which can be heard at www.myspace.com/thesunnysideup .

Finally a high school senior, I will become very busy very soon, but I hope to continue participating in the Bleacher Report community as long as I can find the time to.

I am the community leader for the MAAC here on Bleacher Report, so if you want to join or write something, feel free to contact me.

  2. If you come up, I'd avoid January til mid-February. That's usually when the weather is the worst, the snow tapers off around mid-Feb when the lake freezes over.

Come February 27th for Villanova-Syracuse, College Gameday will be in town.

  3. I wouldn't be too worried. NJIT is better but they are still terrible.

BTW, did you ever end up looking into Syracuse?

  4. Is that even a question? I've been counting down the hours. My new ring tone is CBS's Road to the Final college basketball theme song. It can't get here fast enough.

  5. It's going pretty good Ari. Thanks for including my article in your most recent one. It was an enjoyable read.

  6. No problem Ari!

I thought you might like this piece. It’s a personal look back at the Florida Marlins incredibly shocking upset of the New York Yankees in the 2003 World Series.

Also, I like the MAAC previews you just put up. I'll drop a comment on them when I get a chance man.

  11. Hi Ari,

I noticed you enjoyed Bob's interview with Ernie Banks the other day. I thought you might also enjoy the interview I did with him a few years back.
