Joel Cox is a Fiction Writer from Silver Spring, Maryland. He has been nominated for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs Intro Journal Award. His work has appeared in Black Boot, The Writing Disorder, Inkslinger Magazine, Feathertale Review, and he has a forthcoming publication in Ampersand Review. His interests are in subversive and satirical literature, cinematic influences in fiction, African genocide, and boxing. He is currently in the MFA in Creative Writing in Fiction program at San Diego State University, and he works for Fiction International Literary Journal.
