Unlike Kelly, I started watching basketball on a regular basis in the sixties when the Bulls came into the league. I wouldn't need to write, "From what I read about basketball then" as he mentioned.

Just know this, and rip me if you like, but I know basketball so much better than that guy, it's like a Harvard law school graduate against a pre-schooler. Read my stuff and read his and see who is right just about every time. (A hint) It's not him.

That article was a cathartic experience. :) (and the Deng omission was actually deliberate and I was wondering if anyone would pick up on it. ESPN had some kind of fake award for least acknowledged star and Deng didn't even get a nomination. Typical. I thought it a fitting tribute.
