I'm a sophomore at the University of Southern California studying Broadcast Journalism. I'm originally from San Clemente, CA and I attended San Clemente High School.
When my professional athlete dream died, I looked for a way to combine my love for sports with my skill set. Sports Journalism was my solution.

Hi Will,
In case you haven't seen it, there is an online petition going around calling on NCAA President Emmert to reduce the sanctions against USC in light of the revelations coming out of Miami. Feel free to sign it, pass it on and to make it known to as many friends as possible. You can add it to your articles, re-tweet it or whatever. It looks like you might be a current student at SC, so get it going through campus whether that be your frat house, your classmates or anyone else on campus. Just get it going!

Congrats on 100k reads! That's a milestone to be proud of, especially in so few articles. Keep it up!
Will - thanks for noticing Griff Whalen as an offensive talent. Though he shares Ryan Whalen's last name, they are no relation. So told me Griff's mother at the Orange Bowl tailgate (they were right behind Toby the Van), so I have it on good authority.
I would love to get your comments on “NCAA and Amateurism Are a Joke; How to Fix the College Football Mess” at: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/741984-ncaa-and-amateurism-are-a-joke-how-to-fix-the-college-football-mess
I hope you find that this article finally pulls together the problems with the NCAA and practical solutions that will help the athletes and colleges.
Thanks, Bill
