Stewart Upton was born on the Central Coast of California. In June of 1993, after graduating from college, Upton enlisted in the Marine Corps. In March of 1995, after spending two years as an enlisted service member, he became a commissioned officer with the military occupational specialty to work with and assist members of the media. He is a survivor of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon and multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq to serve in his official capacity as a Media Relations Officer for the Government of the United States and Coalition Forces. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University East Bay, a master's degree in Public Administration from Webster University of Ill. and a Computer Programming Degree from Stratford University in Northern Virginia.
