Thanks for reading and commenting on my article, Dylan. 3 good American franchises would be Portland, Milwaukee and Seattle. Seattle in fact was the first American team to win the Stanley Cup, almost 100 years ago. Add Hartford with a new arena, plus any Canadian cities with viable arenas, and a new league would stand a good chance of surviving, especially if they could get a decent television contract.
