I'd like to think I know baseball and fancy myself an educated fan, well-versed on the topics of peanuts, Crackerjack and whatnot.

However, if you are a Bill James guru looking for in-depth analysis of Sabermetrics, you probably won't find much of that in my writing. Why? Well, that's math. Math I'm not so good at.

In order to avoid math whenever possible, I took the liberal arts route in college and earned degrees in Print Journalism and English from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, home of the Panthers and mass transit.

To this date, I've used those degrees in positions as a proofreader, editor, writer, bartender, blogger and now a contributor to Bleacher Report.

Due to proximity, I primarily root for the Milwaukee Brewers, but I also enjoy watching the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies and the Texas Rangers under the guidance of Nolan Ryan.

When the baseball season ends, you can find me cheering on the Green Bay Packers each and every Sunday with my wife and daughter or researching statistics for an upcoming Fantasy Football or Fantasy Baseball Draft.
