Your boy Pesonen got demoted back to WB/S today, in favor of Jeff Taffe and Tim Wallace who were recalled.

Seems to me than Peso has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff a little, and might just need a year of nurturing in the minors before he's ready for the NHL. He was getting very little ice time (under 3 minutes against Buffalo) and didnt really have much of a chance to prove himself, but I guess that's the nature of the beast.

Pesonen looked solid this pre-season, I was kind of surprised he didn't get more of a shot on the big club during the season, but then again, there really isnt much room in the lineup. I think he'll get another shot eventually.

Don't know if you ever checked out my blog, Experiencing the Evolution (www.pensevolution.blogspot.com) but if you haven't, stop by and check it out, maybe spread the word to some other Pens' fans, I'm trying to get some more visitors and build up the community in the comments section. Check it out when you get a minute.

haha yeah, Hossa hasnt really lived up to his billing yet, though he did actually shoot the puck a little in Game 2 for a change. Sykora has been twice as good as Hossa, for 1/3 the $.

yeah, I've been going to games since I was a kid. First game I went to was in '93. Went to 11 games this year, but needless to say I'm broke now so I most likely wont make it to any playoffs games. Another big win tonight, hopefully they can keep it goin in Canada.

Sid should be fired up tonight after not getting on the board in Game 1. I'm in the Pittsburgh area so I get the games on FSN, pretty good for the most part, listening to Bob Errey's color analysis can make for some good times.
