17 years in the making, and last night made it worth every second.

Your boy Pesonen got demoted back to WB/S today, in favor of Jeff Taffe and Tim Wallace who were recalled.

Seems to me than Peso has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff a little, and might just need a year of nurturing in the minors before he's ready for the NHL. He was getting very little ice time (under 3 minutes against Buffalo) and didnt really have much of a chance to prove himself, but I guess that's the nature of the beast.

Pesonen looked solid this pre-season, I was kind of surprised he didn't get more of a shot on the big club during the season, but then again, there really isnt much room in the lineup. I think he'll get another shot eventually.
