Shale, How can you pin the failure of the 2002 Mets' on Mark Corey who only appeared in a total of 10 innings and Grant Roberts who was 3-1 with a .220 ERA? Mark Corey was a great person who made the mistake of smoking pot for the first time in his life while in the company of a Met utility player. The seizure was evidence that he had no idea of what to expect. Your blame on Grant Roberts stems from a photo of him sucking on a bong when he was 18 years old. I think the collapse of the 2002 Mets was more about 3 of your other targets, Vaughn .259, Alomar .266 and Cedeno .260.

As you know, I am a Mets FC like you. But I am also a fan of your work here. I noticed on your bio that you, like me, are a Mets/Giants fan. You've got your head in the clouds. Albert Pujols and Mets would work?! NOPE Ike Davis trade?! DISGUSTING I'm sorry but some of your articles are just not realistic in any way and get the hopes of Mets fans up just so they can realize it will never happen (Pujols article). Someone had to say it. Although, some of your other articles are pretty great. Others, not so much.

Np Shale. I saw that you put a lot of hard work into it, and more importantly, it was written well. Keep up the good work.
