About

Joe Rogers was born in India and after a few short stays in Canada, Wyoming and a few southern states, grew up mainly in the small town of Danville, located in central Pennsylvania.

He is a graduate of the State University of New York Institute of Technology, where he majored in Business & Public Management while lettering in basketball.

Since 1994 he has been coordinating sports programs at the State Correctional Institute at Graterford, a maximum security facility and the 5th largest state prison in the United States, located outside of Philadelphia. In February of 2002, his basketball program was featured in issue 57 of SLAM magazine and in 2006 he was recognized by the American Basketball Association for his program's success.

He is a member of NSSA (National Sportscasters & Sportswriters Association) and currently operates the website, The College Football Bowl Report with hopes of creating a great traveling tool for the college football fan who loves to go on the road following his/her favorite team. Joe got the idea from going on the road to take in many of different sporting events himself, including 16 Kentucky Derbys, 4 Super Bowls, nearly two dozen bowl games, including the 2003 and 2012 National Championship Games and traveling throughout the midwest for Penn State games and through the south to see the Tigers of LSU.
