When Announcers Just Aren't The Same: Our Guys vs. ESPN

Well, the good news is that when you typed in "Cameon" under the search tool, my name was the only one to pop up. The bad news is that you probably typed in "Cameron" first and when you didn't see me, realized you had been saying it wrong the whole time. That's ok. Story of my life. To remedy that problem, a friend of mine made me a hat that had "The Bama Chick" monogrammed in it for me, so for the easiness of everyone (including everyone's spell check) that is usually what I go by on here.
Why?
Well, I guess because I tend to write a lot about Alabama. I'm not sure why. Could be because I have grown up here in Birmingham. Could be because, well, what else is there to do? Probably more so because I'm obsessed, I mean passionate, about the Crimson Tide in a "is that really a woman yelling that at the refs (looks at friend) ALL RIGHT!" kinda way.
I don't do a lot of analysis on the Tide, because I like to link sports with every day activities and sometimes, link every day activities to sports. Some call them "feel good" articles. I like to call them, "I just realized sports really is involved in everything" kinda articles. Sometimes, they raise a lot of hoopla, and that's OK...I'll post it anyway.
I'm not bragging about my stats or who I've written for, because I figure if you wanted to know that, you can check for yourself. I have had several POTD articles, but couldn't even tell you what they were now. While they are nice to get, they aren't the reason I write for this site. I'd rather you just get to know me and my writing and then have you be the judge of my writing.
I have met some excellent people on this site and would not be the writer I am on here today if it weren't for a "Few Good Men" by the names of GrayGhost, Larry Burton, Leroy Watson Jr., and many many more. They helped me out when I first started, and because of those Senior Writers helping me out, I am now at the top. (Or near it anyway).
That being said, I'll be happy to help any new writer with getting started, or even any veteran just looking to bounce around ideas. Any links you post will be read (at some point) and please feel free to do so.
Beyond writing almost constantly for this and that, I am completely in love with kids, politics, and anything involving the University Of Alabama. I also love spending time with my family (including the cutest Bama fan I know, my lil' bro Michael). I guess to put everything in a nutshell, I am in love with life, laughing, and love it most when life makes me laugh.
Roll Tide,
The Bama Chick
where'd you go??? hope all is well...
You still around, girl?
you are one of the prettiest crimson Tide fans i ever saw
With just a couple of days before the 2010 Ford Ironman Championship in Hawaii, I talk with one of the favorites—last year's runner-up, American Chris Lieto:

I know you're absent many days sometimes but I've worried a little this time. I've even said a "just in case" prayer. Be blessed out there!
There is nothing like the advent of the football season to get me writing again!

Hope you and your family are doing well. We have missed you over at BN.
To tell the truth I have been keeping up with your articles since GG did the piece in which we were mentioned. I realized the other day that I had never officially became a fan. My favorite article though was probably the one about the types of fans, I thought it was rather funny and insightful.
