About

Lindsay McCormick is a reporter and college football analyst from Houston, TX who has appeared on “ESPN Streak for the Cash” and “ESPN College Pick’em” on ESPN.com, the MtvU music countdown show “The Dean’s List,” “The Tige Rodgers Morning Show” on Mix 96.7 as a guest analyst and as a sports reporter covering the Auburn University football team.

Lindsay was an intern for ESPN during her senior year of college, where she learned from the best sports anchors and reporters in the business and produced highlights for shows including “SportsCenter,” “NBA Fastbreak” and “Baseball Tonight.”

She has a B.A. from Auburn University, where she majored in Communications specializing in Public Relations. It was at Auburn that she was able to develop her passion for broadcasting and sports to a greater extent. She was involved with the campus news station, Eagle Eye TV, and started to learn new techniques about filming, editing and production. She became a host for Eagle Eye TV in the fall of 2007, which broadcasted on campus as well as off campus on Channel 16.

At the same time she was becoming involved with Eagle Eye TV, she also applied for a hosting job with MtvU. Shortly after, she was contacted by their producers to host a music countdown show called “The Dean’s List.” She worked with producers by phone to write the script and then shot the video around Auburn University’s campus. The show aired online as well as on MtvU.

But, it was when she starting picking up sports stories for Eagle Eye TV, working with media relations to interview NCAA players for the news and participating in press conferences with coaches, that she found her true calling. The two things she loved most, sports and broadcasting, combined into one. Lindsay’s family always joked that she was raised in a “sports family.” Her dad played baseball, her brother played basketball on the WNBA Houston Comet’s practice team and her grandfather was drafted by the Washington Redskins in 1946. “For as long as I can remember, my life has always revolved around sports, and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she has said.

Lindsay is currently based in Connecticut and New York and writes all of her own scripts.
