Short List

  • Favorite Athletes

I'm certain I'll leave someone out, so I hope you can edit this.. Hockey: Matt Stajan, Mats Sundin, Anton Stralman, Alex Ovechkin, Joe Thornton, and too many goalies to name Football: Vince Young, Brett Favre, Brian Urlacher, Paul Pozlusny Baseball: David Eckstein, Derek Jeter, Josh Beckett Soccer: Any one from the England national team, lol, Joe Cole has to be my favourite though. Lacrosse: Blaine Manning, Bob Watson, John Tavares, I think I covered them all, probably not though.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Maple Leafs Blue Jays Toronto Rock Tennessee Titans England national soccer team Chelsea of the EPL

  • All-Time Sports Moment

hmm, see to me sports are all about moments. Sure the scores count, but it's the moments that make sports, like Ray Bourque finally getting to hoist the cup, Joe Carter lifting the Toronto Blue Jays to TWO consecutive world series' Things like that, memories are what makes sports so special

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Can't say I've been to too many important games in sports history, but they were all memorable to me. Canada vs USA in the field lacrosse championships was awesome like two summers ago, and the few Leafs games I have been too. My most memorable game will probably be this summer, when me and my bro take a roady to New York city to see the Jays play the Yankees in the jays final appearance in the famous Yankee Stadium.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

hmm, anymore I'm not sure any record is unbreakable, but i would say Glenn Hall's record of playing every game of the season (Hall was an NHL goalie for those who are unfamiliar.) For the record, I do think someone will score 93 goals some day in the NHL (that could be hopeful optimism though..)

  • Ruth or Mays?

Mays. Too young to see either of them play, but I think as good as Ruth was, and he truly was, Mays was a guy who could do it all, hit, run, steal, play D, so I'll say Mays

  • Unitas or Montana?

Again, a little too young, but I would say Steve Young is my personal pick over both of them (not saying he was better or anything, just a personal thing.) Young was in his hay day when I was a kid, so there were many days I was playing Steve Young in my backyard.

  • Pele or Maradona?

As a kid with an English background, I will never choose Maradona (hand of god my foot :)) So I go with Pele.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

I don't watch much college football, but when I do, I cheer Notre Dame, so the indys I guess
