Chris's Bio
I am a diehard Chicago sports fan who tells it how it is. I realize there are sports outside of Chicago and I am aware that other cities' teams may deserve more attention. However, I am a Chicago guy and want to focus my attention on Chicago sports, mostly the Chicago Cubs. Follow my articles if you would like to read about sports from a real perspective, not a media driven one.

Thanks. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't get much better than tailgating at Miller Park. I had a friend in from Key West, so we took it to the extreme cliche - cheeseheads, brats, Leinie's - the whole nine yards.

Got a tailgating recipe you can share?

Actually, the feedback link on the article is for me to leave you a note, or for you to leave a note to the editor before he works on the piece. If you want to get a message to me after the fact, then you have to leave a message on my profile, like you did! So well done, actually.
And I did enjoy your piece and am looking forward to more great works from you.

Keep up the good work, I enjoy reading your articles and I admire how you take your time and don't rush to finish them like a lot of people on here do.
As for the Bears, I was scared for their defense heading into the Colts game, and they flat-out proved me wrong. However, with Mike Brown and Nate Vasher at full health, they obviously are a better team. The one thing I don't like (and this is from a Chicago perspective because I read the newspapers here religiously) is their cockiness after the first game. This is a team that sucked against the run last year and couldn't consistently reach the quarterback. They need to stop worrying so much about what the media thinks and just play to their potential, which at full strength, is a top-5 defense.
